[SCA-Dance] {SCA-Dance} Kwown World Dance 2017

The Kingdom of Atlantia, Barony of Storvik, has put in a bid to host KWDS 2017.  We have all required baronial, kingdom, and SCA approvals so we are now announcing it on this forum.  It will be near Baltimore, MD.  It is on the SCA website event calendar.
We are just starting to put information on the kwds.org website so you can check next week for more details.  Registration is not open yet as we are getting the paypal system set up.  However it is not too soon to be making plans and thinking about classes to teach.  

The event will be held at the Hotel Radisson, located just North of Baltimore.  It is just off the Baltimore beltway and there is easy access from I-95, I-83, and I-70.  There is mass transit from the Baltimore-Washington International Airport to near the site.  The site has hosted many science fiction conventions so they are used to unusual groups and costumes.  There is free parking.  All the meeting space is on one floor.  The ballroom will be divided during the day for classroom use.  As this is a hotel all food has to go through their catering so no feasts are planned..  Street address 2004 Greenspring Drive, Timonium, MD 21093.  There will be a discounted room block.

The site is an hour from Washington, DC and all the cultural resources there.  

June 15-18, 2017, with classes Friday 10-5, Saturday 10-5, and Sunday 10-12, balls Friday and Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon, and an informal meet & greet gathering Thursday evening. We will both be at Pennsic so feel free to talk to either of us about it there.
