Ah.  I had assumed that it was the local group saying "hey, there's
this great site.  Let's put on a show!"  I hadn't thought that a group
of people would search around a large area for a suitable site.  And I
suppose that if your site is at A but your staff live in B, C, and D,
that will make coordination more awkward, and that's an on-going thing.

Also, I suppose other class-like events have less stringent
requirements, so it's possible to not just find a site easier, but to
find an easier site.  Some KWHSSs, like the most recent, were held
entirely in a hotel, making coordination a lot easier.  (Though I can
remember two that were on universities, so there were classrooms,
dorms, and a hotel to deal with.)
