[SCA-Dance] KWDS report (What I Did on my Summer Vacation...)

Many travel to visit us in the kingdoms we live. I think it is wise for us
to visit them once in a while to let them know we value what they bring to
the dance community.



For me, it is a coin toss on whether it is cheaper to fly across the USA or
to Europe. It changes from week to week and month to month. For instance,
when An Tir hosted the Seattle KWDS, the flight would have cost me more than
traveling to Europe. Most of us going to a KWDS will need to travel a good
distance no matter where it is. Yes we all prefer it being within driving
distance ... who wouldn't. Yet most of us will not be within driving
distance. So why not open up the possible sites to areas beyond the USA
especially if the flights are a reasonable cost. As each KWDS bid is
accepted, it would be a good time to start saving toward the event. Recall
the Lochac KWDS was announced 4 years in advance which is the same as Judith
has done for her request for a site in Europe.
