At Pennsic, you'll frequently see what I like to call the "Occam's
Razor" reconstruction of this dance: some couples in a line, some
couples in a circle, some individual couples dancing with various
handholds... the object being to dance as many plausible
reconstructions as possible. It's a fun game.
