[SCA-Dance] spamming increase?

I feel sure that the administrators of this list are already
aware of the spam increase of late.  I remember a question some
time back regarding moderated posts - could someone refresh my
memory as to how moderation of this list works?  I had thought
that posts did not go through until they'd been cleared by the
moderators, but perhaps I am confusing the policies of different
lists.  Much obliged to anyone who can clarify.
