<p><font size="2"><b>Description: </b>
This class presents a combination of lecture and hand-on technique to
explore the origins and applications of bobbin lace in the 16 th century.
Students will create a small piece of bobbin lace for use as a bookmark
or personal token. A limited number of complete pillow kits (lace
pillow, 12 bobbins, threads, pins) will be available for purchase. Also,
a limited number of the instructor's personal pillows will be available
for use during class hours. Students may also bring their own equipment.
Spectators are welcome. Handouts will be made available to all attendees. <br></font>
