<br> <br>"Dreams and Visions in Medieval Miracle Accounts" <br><br>Klaniczay is Professor and Head of the Department of Medieval Studies at the Central European University, Budapest. His research focuses on the historical anthropology of medieval and early modern European popular religion (sainthood, miracle beliefs, healing, magic, witchcraft). His major works available in English are Holy Rulers and Blessed Princesses: Dynastic Cults in Medieval Central Europe (Cambridge, 2002) and The Uses of Supernatural Power: The Transformations of the Popular Religion in Medieval and Early Modern Europe (Princeton, 1990).
