The Iron Comet Challenge, Japanese Iris Festival, and Kingdom Equestrian
champs is a little more than one week away. There will be thrown
weapons, archery, fencing, and heavy fighting martial events. In
addition there is an A&S competition and display. There will also be
Kingdom equestrian champs. If the weather is good, there will be a joust
at the end of the competitions. The date is June 4th, and the location
is Brady's Run Horse Arena in Brady's Run Park in Beaver Falls.

A few updates and clarifications:
1. It wasn't clear in the announcement, but other than the horses, the
event is service animals only and they must be leashed.
2. Start time is now earlier at 9am so we can fit everything in.
3. SCA-rs online preregistration is open
https://members.sca.org/apps/#MtgDetail/00001314 Note that online
preregistration ends May 30th, 2022.
4. SCA Covid protocols as of the event date will be enforced. Please be
prepared to show your vaccination record or proof of a negative Covid
test upon arrival.
5. Bring food, drink, and chairs. If you want to bring a pop-up there is
room in the non-equestrian half of the site.
We are looking for volunteers:
1. Field heralds needed for the tournaments.
2. Stable hands needed to help with the work for the horses.
3. Help with covid check needed especially first thing Saturday morning.
In service,
Hara Kikumatsu
