[SCA-BMDL] Break Out of Cabin Fever TOMORROW

It's been cold, I mean REALLY cold.

Tomorrow, in the Debatable Lands it is going to be 40 degrees and sunny!

What a great day to attend Æthelmearc Grand Tournament!!

The day tournaments will rotate between Heavy and Fencing throughout the
day.

For Heavy tournaments will be three forms:
Sword and Shield/Buckler
Great Sword
Two Weapon

For the Fencers, the three forms will be:
Single Sword
Sword and Buckler
Two Weapon (Case/ Sword & Dagger.

All tournaments will be Double Elimination!

Artisans! the theme for the days competition is "For the Glory of
Æthelmearc" Bring your best piece that represents your kingdom! The winner
will be determined by Populace Vote!

We also have an area for Open Scribal play available all day!

The Youth will have a quest throughout the day that includes learning about
our Kingdom Awards and People! The Youth Quest begins at Noon!

Not interested in any of those things? Everyone Loves Food! What better to
warm you in the middle of winter than Middle Eastern faire. The menu for
the day's sideboard is as follows:

 Flatbreads
- Roasted Meat (chicken, others if money allows)
- Roasted Vegetables (assortment based on availability)
- Spreads/ Dips (tzatziki, hummus, baba ganoush, possibly tabbouleh)
- Homemade Pickles (assorted)
- Stuffed Grape Leaves
- Olives
- Hardboiled Eggs
- Crispy Chickpeas
- Feta Cheese

And for sweets-
- Dried Dates/ Figs/ Apricots
- Fresh Fruit (assortment based on availability)
- Rice pudding w/ assorted topping options (honey, raisins, nuts)
