Having only earlier today been informed by another gentle that the autocrat's lady wife had made an announcement to Facebook contrary to my statement​, allow me to clarify.
I have not been asked to run a separate gift exchange for children. I have been asked to run the traditional gift exchange, as has been done in years past, where there was one exchange for both children and adults, and gifts appropriate to one or the other should be clearly marked so as to avoid confusion and/or inappropriate gifts.
If there is a separate children's gift exchange planned, I have not been made aware of it. Twelfth Night is now under three weeks away, which means you have less than three weeks to do your shopping for the Traditional BMDL 12th Night Gift Exchange!
Once again, we will be running the Gift Exchange using the "White Elephant" rules, with the additional rule that "each gift can be stolen once per round." Participants are encouraged to bring a gift of approximately $15-$20 value, and gifts that are particularly kid-friendly, or gifts that are not kid-appropriate, should be CLEARLY LABELED as such.
