[SCA-BMDL] Fractured Fairy Tales - Danse of the Macabre

Yes, that's right, Gryffyn's Keep is at it again, fracturing yet another
fairy tale. The French Church in the 14th Century believed that the
deceased would rise from their earthly beds and join the world of the
living for one night.

What did they do on that one night you might ask? They threw a party!

But not just any party, they threw a *masque ball* with games and dancing
and food and fun. Dress up in your finest attire, come decorate a mask and
join The Shire of Gryffyn's Keep for this years Fractured Fairy Tales, The
Danse of the Macabre. Come and bob for apples, find the hidden pumpkins, or
get caught up in a spider web. The Barony Marche of the Debatable Lands'
own acclaimed comedia group, i Genesii, will be performing their production
of "Mirror, Mirror,....." There will be a "costume" contest, an A&S
display, mask decorating, a pumpkin carving contest (please carve your
pumpkin ahead of time so it can be displayed for voting), dancing, a
storytelling contest and general all around family fun. The Shire will be
hosting a cooking competition again to be served with the Pot Luck Dayboard
(please bring a dish to share).

The event will be held at the Union Presbyterian Church located at 656
State Route 380, Murrysville, PA 15668. Site opens at 10:00AM and closes at
6:30PM. The autocrat for the day will be Lady Freya Ramsey (Heather
Pollins, 101 Clay Avenue,Jeannette, PA 15644, 724-522-1019 ); should you

The cost for the day will be $10.00 for Adults, $8.00 for Teens (13-17),
$5.00 for Youth (6-12), and 5 years and under are Free. There will be a
family cap of $45. A $5 non-member surcharge will be collected for those
unable to show proof of membership.

So bring the family out and enjoy a day of old fashion Hallows Eve fun!
