[SCA-BMDL] Youth Fighter Practice, Guild Wars, and Barony meeting this Sunday

Unto all Youth Fighters and their parents,

Youth Fighter practice continues this Sunday from 2:00-5:00 pm at
Washington Blvd. and Allegheny River Blvd in the East End of Pittsburgh.

This Sunday is also the Barony meeting and GUILD WARS. Numerous A&S Guilds
and groups are looking for champions to compete in each martial area. Some
are still looking for youth fighters to complete their rosters! If you are
available to fight for a guild, please contact me. We'll hold a bear pit
tourney for as long as the youth fighters' interest holds out, with the
winner being the fighter who gains the most points when we're done. Winning
a bout gains you 2 points, while losing gains you 1 point, so even if you
don't win you can still accumulate points by fighting a lot!

Loaner gear will be available for interested kids ages 6-17 who wish to try
youth combat.

Remember that the site is somewhat primitive, with no running water and
only a portajohn for a toilet. Bring a water bottle, and if you wish to
have something to sit on other than the grass, a folding chair is a good
idea. Don't forget the sunscreen!

THERE IS NO YOUTH COMBAT PRACTICE ON MAY 17.

Instead, go to the KINGDOM YOUTH COMBAT CHAMPION'S TOURNEY at AEthelmearc
War Practice on Saturday, May 16. Our very own Otto Brandulfarson will be
passing on the position of Div 1 Champion there - if you would like
to fight in that tourney and are not yet authorized, please plan to

May 10 - 2-5 pm at Washington Blvd. with GUILD WARS
May 16 - 9:00 am Kingdom Youth Combat Champs Tourney at War Practice
May 17 - NO practice - go to AEthelmearc War Practice on Saturday
May 24 - 2-5 pm at Washington Blvd.
May 31 - 2-5 pm at Washington Blvd.
