[SCA-BMDL] Court Report Uilliam and Constance War Practice 5/16 AS 50

Here begins the report of the Court of Uilliam and Constance, Baron and
Baroness of the Debatable Lands, at War Practice, 16 May AS 50, Drotinn
Jorundr hinn Rotinn, Comet Pursuivant reporting.

Their Excellencies greeted Their Majesties and His Highness who stayed to
observe Their Court.

Their Excellencies had words to speak with Countess Rosalinda of Castile.
Her prowess in thrown weapons is well known, as is her skill on the fencing
field, Their Excellencies being pleased with this, awarded her a Red Comet.
Illumination by Cecily of Whitehaven, calligraphy by Rachel Dalicieux.

Their Excellencies wished to have words with another of Their subjects,
Lady Ruaidrí Mac Aoidh. She makes beautiful garments from many different
periods, and clothes many, including Her Excellency. Their Excellencies
feel that this is a good thing so They awarded her a Blue-Silver Comet.

With heavy hearts Their Excellencies wished to announce that though the
past 4 years have been truly grand, it is time that They announce Their
intent to step down, so that others might wear the Comet Coronets. Thus
Master Alaric MacConnal was called to briefly explain the election
procedure. The nomination committee is to be chosen at the June officer's
meeting, then there will be a nomination meeting to follow.

Their Excellencies wished to express again how much of an honor it has been
to serve as Baron and Baroness of the Debatable Lands.

Court Closed.

Herald's note: At the June officer's meeting the nomination committee was
formed of the following 5 people: Baroness Constance Glyn Dwr, Master
Alaric MacConnal, Baron Uilliam mac an t’Saoir, Baron Janos Meszaros, and
Fuji'na-dono no Takako.
