There will be an opportunity to attend a session of "Cooking for Crowds"
here in the BMDL, which is a food-safety program run by Penn State
University, on 8 March 2014. This is a curriculum that offers practical
food safety strategies for nonprofit organizations and is really a
must-know for anyone handling food in the SCA.

The session will cost $10 and you will receive the instruction, a full set
of course materials, and a completion certificate. You can also pay $5 to
attend and not receive the full set of course materials, but you will still
receive a completion certificate.

The location will be on the campus of Carnegie Mellon University, Porter
Hall A18A.

Disclaimer: This is an education event NOT sponsored by the SCA, Inc. or
any of its branches.

If the cost presents an issue for you, please contact me immediately. There
are scholarships available, but they are limited.

Best regards,

Odriana vander Brugghe
