[SCA-BMDL] Youth Fighter Practice this Sunday

Greetings to all Youth Fighters and their parents!

Thanks to Lady Ceindrech for running youth fighting for me last week.

Youth fighters, if you plan to fight in theAEthelmearc Youth/Adult Tag Team Tourney at Pennsic on Wednesday of War week, and have not yet found an adult partner, NOW is the time to do it. Pennsic begins in only THREE WEEKS! There are usually adult fighters who are willing to team with youth fighters on the day of the tourney, but you are better off not counting on it and getting yourself a partner NOW!

BMDL youth fighter practice will be held this Sunday in the park at the corner of Washington Blvd. and Allegheny River Blvd. in the East End. Map here: http://goo.gl/maps/FX4wg


Practice runs from 2-5 pm as usual. Once again we'll keep an eye on the weather, as the forecast is for a chance of thunderstorms. Check the barony email list or Debatable Lands' Facebook page for updates.

Make sure to bring a water bottle. If you want a place to sit between bouts, remember to bring a folding chair.


The BMDL Youth Combat practice schedule for the next month is as follows:

June 30 - Practice at Washington Blvd. park

July 7 - Practice at Washington Blvd. park, with Barony meeting including Garb Swap and Pennsic Prep
July 14 - LAST YOUTH COMBAT PRACTICE BEFORE PENNSIC
July 21-August 4 - NO PRACTICE, we will be at PENNSIC!

At Pennsic, where there will be youth combat from 8am to 11am and 3pm-5pm daily, plus tourneys and the ever-popular CASTLE BATTLE on the final Thursday of Pennsic. Also, NOW is the time to line up your adult partner for the AEthelmearc Youth/Adult Tag Team Tourney, to be held on Wednesday July 31 from 11am to 2pm on the main battlefield.
