[SCA-BMDL] Martial practice facility issues - Need EVERYONE'S Help

I would like to clarify here that we use the Washington Blvd parklet as private individuals and not as the "SCA". The Barony does not rent that space, nor do we have any permits to use it (they don't issue permits for parklets). 
If you choose to contact the City about this matter, please do so as an individual member of the Pittsburgh/public community. Be careful not to represent yourself as a spokesperson for the SCA or the Barony, as we have no particular "claim" on the practice site.

Those who attend martial practices know that the portajohn there has not been cleaned in a VERY long time. Probably at least a month. Each week it has gotten more and more horrible. Last week I called the Dept. of Public Works and asked politely if they could do something about it. The nice gentleman I spoke to said that it's supposed to be cleaned 3 times a WEEK and he would call the company that's responsible to have them come and clean it. 
This Sunday, it had NOT been cleaned and was even worse. We had a huge turnout for martial activities, probably 60 people over the course of the day, and the portajohn was horrifically unusable. In addition, there were overflowing bags of trash there that should be hauled away.After last week's inaction, WE NEED EVERYONE TO CONTACT THE CITY TO GET THIS
 FIXED.You can call the DPW at 412-255-8850 and ask for Mike Gable, or you can go to the Pittsburgh website's online complaint form at http://pittsburghpa.gov/311/form/. You do not have to be a city
 resident to complete the form - anyone in Allegheny County has the right to use the city parks. City residents can also just dial 311 to register a complaint by phone.
Be sure to specify that it's in the parking lot of the park at the corner of Washington Blvd. and Allegheny River Blvd.
