Thanks to Their Excellencies for sponsoring a rapier tourney at practice today. We had 5 fencers in the list which was a round robin. The day was won by Lord Will Parris. Also competing were Don Christian de Launey, Lady Anna Leigh, Sir Graedwyn Mab Terynon and myself. Will will be receiving a red and white fencing cloak as the prize for carrying the day.

We also had 3 not yet authorized fencers on the field working on honing their skills today.

There will be no practice next Sunday and the following Sunday practice will be supervised by Don Christian de Launey as I will be out of town on family business.

Remember that now that we are back outside, fencing practice begins at 11 am and the first hour is specificly for lessons, after noon or a little there after the focus will change from lessons to sparring and free play on the field.

Thank you to all who came out to fence today.

Irene von Schmetterling,
Interim Rapier Marshal, BMDL
