[SCA-BMDL] Updated Archery Schedule

Many thanks to Master Alaric for running archery practice last weekend in my absence and continued congratulations on his Heart Fund money-raising project.

Weather permitting, we'll have practice again at the Washington Boulevard site this upcoming Sunday. Has anyone checked out the site this week? I've heard some rumors that it has been getting mildly flooded. I'll check it out myself later this week. Keep on eye on the mailing list for updates.

Archers to the Wald is coming up later this month at the Beaver Valley Archery Club where is has been held the last four or five years. Be prepared for all sorts of archery activities including the Known World-famous walk-throughs. Both the Baronial Archery Championship (Mistress Gianna) and the Baronial Youth Championship (Lord Robert) will be held on the Saturday. See the Steltonwald web site for details.

Looking further ahead, we will need to have a practice site clean-up in a few weeks. All the storms have washed garbage onto the site. It's not as bad as it has been in the past, but it is part of our responsibility to keeping the site to keep it clean. I'll be setting a date and we'll make a party of it. I ask for representatives of all the martial forms to send people to help with the project. More details to follow.
