[SCA-BMDL] A&S Wars - from the Wednesday Scriptorium

To the Barony Marche of the Debatable Lands does the Wednesday
Scriptorium bid greetings and set forth our Challenge.

The Choir has set forth their honourable challenge, and the members of
their team are chivalrous and skilled in their respective Martial
Arts.  It is assured that the competition will be fierce and
honourable upon the field of the A&S Challenge.

On this day, it is my sad duty to report to the other Challenge teams
that the heightened level of skill represented by the team sponsored
by the Wednesday Scriptorium will overwhelm them and send them all
home bereft of their spoils.

The powerful beauty and prowess of Countess Elena D'Artois du Tailleur
shall vanquish all who oppose her on the field of combat.  Upon the
field of battle, all other challengers shall learn why they call her
"Excellency".

The quick tongue and blade of Master Michael McPhe, called Alewright,
shall deal sweet death to each who dare raise a blade to his upon the
fencing field.  Upon the day of the challenge, all those who oppose
Master Michael shall learn the folly of going against the publisher of
fencing manuals.

The strong arm, eagle eye, and considerable charm of Robert of the
Debatable Lands shall cause the other archers to tremble and lose
their aim.  Do not underestimate him because of his youth; fear for
your lunch money, and prepare to be soundly beaten by an eleven year
old.

The deadly accuracy and infectious enthusiasm of Lady Elss of Augsburg
shall overwhelm her thrown weapons challengers, where they shall find
their scores defeated and have the curious urge to cheer for Lady Elss
when caught up in her joy and excitement.

The booty being offered by the Wednesday Scriptorium is of such a
quality that it barely deserves enumeration, but to demonstrate that
the booty is as of the same high quality as the fighting; there will
be home made delicacies, selections from the bounty of the local
market, and the finest trinkets that the dollar store has to offer.

The level of skill represented by our team will bring glory and renown
not only to the Scriptorium, not only to the Barony, but to the
Kingdom as well.
