[SCA-BMDL] Youth Fighter Practice THIS SUNDAY

Greetings to all youth fighters and their parents!

There will be a youth fighter practice this Sunday beginning at 1:00 at the Washington Blvd. site, weather permitting. 
 
THERE ARE ONLY THREE YOUTH COMBAT PRACTICES LEFT BETWEEN NOW AND PENNSIC!
 
If your youth fighter is not yet authorized, and would like to be authorized before Pennsic, this is a great opportunity. 
 
There will be a limited supply of loaner armor available. Remember that fighters must wear long pants and closed-toe shoes - no shorts or sandals.
 
We can also provide instruction on building youth boffer weapons. For the Pennsic War, please be aware of the following weapons rule: 
 
"Inspections shall be conducted on weapons to ensure that proper construction guidelines have been followed. Combatants are counseled to leave a 'window' of strapping tape visible on a convenient part of the weapon (handle or the like) to show the strapping tape below the duct tape. If no window exists, marshals may request a small cut into the weapon to verify that strapping tape is properly employed. "
