[SCA-BMDL] BMDL 12th Night - January 11

Please note that the date is wrong in the December AEstel for BMDL 12th Night.  Due to site issues, the date has changed to next Sunday, January 11.  In addition, the BMDL has decided to make the event free.

Greetings all!

The Barony-Marche of the Debatable Lands will be hosting their annual 12th Night on Sunday, January 11th. This event will be held at the Dorseyville Volunteer Fire Department Social Hall, 100 Charles Street Dorseyville, PA 15238. The site opens at 9am and closes at 10pm.

The event is FREE. There will be an all day potluck sideboard.

As is tradition, the event will include an all-day potluck sideboard (yes, the site is wet, but please bring period containers), pillow fight tourney, fighting outside for those not deterred by winter, and a gift exchange. Typical gifts cost $10-20 and the gift exchange will allow stealing of already opened gifts. In addition, Baronial court and a short Barony meeting will be held. A bardic competition will be held to determine the Baronial Bardic Champion. Please contact the current champion, Liam MacanTsaoir (medicmacintyre15219 at yahoo dot com), for further information.
