Hi everyone,

I hope the link below works. There was an article in LA Times about the
deciphering of a palimsest (a parchment manuscript, where one work was
erased and the parchment was recut and recycled into a prayer book). This
palimpsest has been around since 1907 or so, but it has finally been read
using a slew of high-tech imaging techniques. It seems that Archimedes was
exploring the concept of infinity and was trying to develop calculus-like
math.

Pretty neat.
