Information about fencing practice:

During the summer months (April - end of October), we practice at Washington Blvd. Directions can
be found here: http://home.comcast.net/~katsuichi/sca/bmdl/marshallate/marshal.html#WashBlvd

During the winter months (November - March), practice is held at the Sarah Heinz House on the
North Shore. Directions to this site can be found at the above link during the winter months.

This summer we have also had a mini-practice at the Frick Environmental Center (on Beechwood
Blvd., closest cross street is Beechwood and Forbes) on Tuesday evenings, starting at 6 pm. This
will probably continue for a few more weeks until it gets too dark or cold to continue. If these
two practices don't work for you, there are several other week-night practices in the general
Western PA area (Sunderoak, King's Crossing, Griffin's Keep)

On Sundays, our main practice day, we start at 1 pm and go until about 4 pm. There is loaner gear
available (weapons and armor), as well as willing teachers for beginning students. Both men and
women should wear comfortable clothing that covers the arms down to the wrists and covers the leg
down to the ankle. Open-toed shoes like sandals are not allowed unless you wear socks underneath.
Men should also bring a cup.
