ANNOUNCE: Court Report TRM Khalek and Branwyn Agincourt 3 November a.s. 47

The Report of the Court of Their Majesties Khalek and Branwyn, Khan
and Khatun of Sylvan Aethelmearc, held at Agincourt in the
Barony-Marche of the Debatable Lands on the Third day of November anno
societatis, with the attendance of Their Excellencies Liam and
Constance, Baron and Baroness of the Debatable Lands, in attendance,
Maistir Brandubh Ó Donnghaile, Silver Buccle with the assistance of
THLady Aibell Shuluaine and Count Jehan de la Marche.

Morning Court.

Their Majesties welcomed Their Excellencies Liam and Constance of the
Barony-Marche of the Debatable Lands to attend Them and received their
Oath of fealty for the Debatable Lands.  Their Excellencies further
presented a basket of gifts to Their Majesties.

Count Jehan de la Marche was invited to come forward.  Count Jehan
spoke that for the past twelve years THLord Gareth Kincaid had served
as his squire.  His Excellency had taught Gareth all he could and had
grown to love him like a son.  But like a son Gareth had grown and was
ready to make his own way in the world and so His Excellency begged
Their Majesties that They help him with this.  Their Majesties called
for THLord Gareth Kincaid to come forward and Gareth returned his
squire’s belt to Count Jehan but asked that he might keep his chain so
that in due time he might pass it along to his squires.  Their
Majesties then invited the Order of the Chivalry to attend Them, and
asked if a place of vigil had been prepared, and instructed the Order
to take him forth and counsel him.

Evening Court.

Their Majesties granted leave to Their Excellencies Liam and Constance
to hold their Baronial Court.

The Household of the Black Priory was called upon to attend Their
Majesties.  Duc Henri d’Artois spoke that his household though under a
different name will continue to serve the crown, and presented gifts
to Their Majesties and offered their assistance to the crown.

Their Majesties called upon the Archery Marshals of the event,
Meistari Urho Waltterinen, THLord Deryk Archer, and Lady Muirgheal
inghean Dubhgaill to attend Them.  They spoke that Master Denys of
Greenway, His Majesty’s Archery Champion, had fallen ill and been
unable to attend the event, but that these three marshals had banded
together and run ranges and conduct a tournament to determine His
Majesty’s next Archery Champion.  At the end of the day, Cadan Buri
had proven himself to be a champion and so His Majesty called Lord
Cadan to attend him.  Meistari Urho presented the Champion’s Regalia
to Lord Cadan, and Khan Khalek took his oath of fealty to serve the

Guion ab Wilim was called forth and recognized for his long dedication
to youth fighting.  For the past four years Guion had fought in the
youth lists, favoring two swords, though he fights with all forms.  He
is found at Baronial practice and fights in every youth battle and
tournament at Pennsic, and helps to make his own armor.  For all of
this Their Majesties inducted him into the Order of the Silver Alce.

Their Majesties brought Elizabeth Arrowsmith forward and Awarded her
Arms for her service to the Kingdom of Aethelmearc serving as
retainer, Archer, Archery Marshal in Training, Scribe, Baronial Gold
Key, and serving at events, and Pennsic Camp setup.  Scroll by Lady

The Khan and Khatun called forth Lady Sumayya al Ghaziyah and spoke to
her that They had some business from Their parents, and Invited Count
Andreas Morgan to come forward, he spoke to Lady Sumayya that he and
his Queen Kallista had Awarded her Arms and here today he had a scroll
to commemorate that award and so he presented her with a scroll by the
hands of THLady Ismay Ponde with a text by Count Jehan de la Marche.

Their Majesties Awarded Arms to Thomas Dynne in absentia for his
skills and dedication to thrown weapons and rattan combat.  He travels
to attend local practices in neighboring groups, and was invited to
join to join the line to defend the bridges during the battles at
Northern Oaken War Maneuvers.  Scroll by Mistress Magaret Makafee.

Baroness Tsv’ee’a bas Tseepora Levi of Granada was invited to come
attend the crown.  They spoke to her of her never ending generosity
and courtesy, clothing so many gentles, and teaches more how to sew,
enriching the kingdom.  For her kindness and generosity Their
Majesties inducted her into the Order of the Cornelian.  Scroll by

Their Majesties called upon Master William de Montegilt, as They
recalled him mentioning earlier in the day about thirty-seven and a
half years ago he authorized to and has served as a heavy weapons
fighter though all those years across various kingdoms, but had never
been recognized even though he still fights at all heavy battles at
Pennsic.  For this They inducted him into the Order of the Golden

Meistari Urho Waltterinen was summoned forth as The Kingdom Archer
General.  Urho reported to Their Majesties that an archer had attained
a rank which requires the attention of the crown, and asked Their
Majesties permission to call forth Lord Robert McEwin of Thornhill.
Urho spoke that Robert had reached the rank of Grand Master Bowman by
achieving a royal rounds average rank of 101 points, and presented him
with the badge of a grand master bowman and presented him to Populace
as such.

Their Majesties then called Lord Robert McEwin of Thornhill to attend
Them.  They had also witnessed many great deeds by Lord Robert.  They
had seen the reports of his archery skills, heard of the arrows and
bowstrings that he makes.  He serves as Their Majesties Youth Champion
and has held that honor many times, as well as baronial youth and
baronial archery champion.  For all of his deeds, Their Majesties
inducted Robert into the Order of the Golden Alce.  Mistress Arianna
of Wynthrope then came forth to present her Golden Alce Medallion to

Sir Alonzio of the Peacemakers was summoned and Their Majesties spoke
to him of his service to Aethelmearc.  He had served as Dean of the
War College, Regional army commander, and Field commander of the
armies.  He trained and raised new fighters and leaders, army
commanders for Aethelmearc, serving the kingdom.  Their Majesties then
called for the Order of the Pelican to attend Them and instructed Sir
Alonzio to consult with Them to establish a time when he would answer
whether he would accept entrance into the Most Noble Order of the

Their Majesties summoned THLord Gareth Kincaid to attend Them.  He
verified that he had received counsel that day and would gladly accept
elevation to the Order of the Chivalry.  Their Majesties called for
the Order of the Chivalry to attend Them and the Order further
verified that they were ready to include Gareth in their number.
Their Majesties called for witnesses and heard the words of Master
Skalla-Valgardr Gunnarsson from the Order of the Pelican, Mistress
Juliana Delamare from the Order of the Laurel, Sir Alonzio of the
Peacemakers from the Order of the Chivalry, and Count Jehan de la
Marche as one who had sat the thrones before.  Their Majesties called
for a belt to mark his waist, and Gareth’s Lady Miske came forward to
place the white belt around his waist.  Sir Stevan Ulfkellson
presented the ancestral chain of the Chivalry of Aethelmearc to Their
Majesties, and Count Jehan de la Marche presented the chain that had
been given to him by Duke Cariadoc of the Bow when he had been
elevated, with the instruction that it be passed to Gareth’s first
squire to reach the Chivalry.  Mistress Juliana Delamare presented
spurs, and Sir Wulfstan Huscarl spoke of the importance of the spurs
as a leader of men, to spur on the horse to charge into battle.  Count
Jehan and THLady Ismay Ponde presented a cloak commissioned of Duchess
Ilish O’Donovan, and embroidered by Baroness Alexandra dei
Campagnella.  Their Majesties then received Gareth’s oath of fealty,
and His Majesty dubbed him a Knight of the Society, delivered the last
unanswered blow to Sir Gareth, and bid the Order to welcome their new
