Dear list:
We are currently scanning cytology slides with an Olympus scanner at 60x
and are producing VSI-files between 2 and 4 GB. As Openslides / VIPS
cant read VSI, I am trying to export them to BigTiff. HOwever, the
result of a 2 GB VSI file is a 22 GB BigTiff although I turned on the
JPEG compression (85).
Is there any new development regarding the VSI format? Does anyone have
an add-on program, etc to convert VSI in a better way?
Thanks
Martin
