The paper describes OpenSlide as of the date it was accepted, which is
roughly version 3.3.3 plus the internal reorganization from the upcoming
3.4.0 release, but without any of the new features from 3.4.0.

I'd like to join Satya in thanking each of you in the OpenSlide
community for your contributions to the project. Without your bug
reports, patches, test data, suggestions, complaints, and encouragement,
OpenSlide wouldn't be where it is today. I hope OpenSlide has been
useful to you, and that it continues to assist your research and
clinical endeavors far into the future.
