Hi Adam and openslide-users,

I attach a couple of CZI files for you info. In my experience (we have several Zeiss microscopes) CZI files tends to be very big.

PS. A few months ago, Zeiss published an SDK for the CZI format, but I don't know anything about their distribution policy.

What does the Zeiss format look like?

Is it the zvi format like this?

Probably the best way forward would be for you to dedicate an engineer to work with the CMU guys to add this support. Have a look at the code if you've not already, especially the files with "vendor" and "ops" in the names:

Hello list,

I am David McCleary the head of software development from PathXL, a provider of vender neutral digital slide management solutions. We support most of the major image formats (Aperio/Hama (NDPI)/Leica/MRSX) but currently don't support Zeiss. Is there any plans to support Zeiss? We would be interested in working with the group in supporting this format, if this is possible? What is the best way to do this?

Thanks,
David
