Not necessarily. The small sample-sets that I've provided to John are for 
just a few "fields". A single slide may have up to 10,000 of these fields 
(so you would end up w/ 10,000 XML-blocks). So for a single field, you 
could very well end up with low-resolution information (as long as you 
know how to paste the individual pieces back together to form a whole). 
Think about the CSS position-attribute. when you use the value Relative 
vs. Absolute for it, you can get away with much smaller numbers, as long 
as the parent is positioned correctly.

Right, there clearly is a relationship; see our previous discussion at 
[1].  However, due to the low resolution of the *MotorPos attributes, I 
doubt that the XML data will be useful.

Have you investigated the StitchingIntensityLayer non-hierarchical 
section?  There is evidence[2] that it is significant.
