On the other hand, it would be nice to have a library with as less
dependencies as possible. This way when you have to compile it, you do
not have to compile a whole lot of other projects as well. I am saying
this because I've found the task of compiling OpenSlide and all of it's
dependencies, for Windows x64, at least very time consuming.
