images

Hello, I was wandering if the images that openslide analyzes (i.e., tif, vms, vmu, svs, mrxs) are all cross-platform and the software can read them in either Linux or Windows.  Somebody here in my group is telling me that the images they have are Windows proprietary but I thought that all images are cross-platform. Is there any reason the same images could be read with Linux or Unix platform. Elena
