OpenSlide Python bindings released

I'm pleased to announce OpenSlide Python, an official Python binding to 
the OpenSlide library.  OpenSlide Python provides access to the entire 
OpenSlide API and includes some additional functionality for generating 
Deep Zoom [1] images from slides.  The package also includes two example 
programs: a Deep Zoom image generator and a simple web application for 
displaying whole-slide images in a browser.

The API is believed to be reasonable, but as this is a first release, 
there are no guarantees of API stability.  Please feel free to report 
bugs or suggestions here or in the issue tracker [2].
