[944] Homework 1

Dear All,

The first homework is on the class website:

It is due (electronically) on Canvas. You should scan in your homework
and turn it in (as a PDF) on Canvas. Please note that it is very
"unforgiving" when it comes to deadlines -- if you start your upload too
late, and it finishes after the deadline, it will be marked as late (and
consequently penalized appropriately).

If you have any questions regarding the homework, post them here:

You need to create an account using a CMU email, but may post
anonymously (if you choose) after that.

I also posted scans from what I wrote in class online. 

David will hold your recitation tomorrow; also I will teach from NY on
Tuesday next week barring any airport security fiascos.
