[269] HW 2, and submission of HW

Hi All,

HW 2 is online.

A few notes regarding submission of homework:

1. Please review the late homework policy; I will adhere to it
   strictly. (In particular, I won't accept homework that is turned
   in after class starts; however, to accommodate unusual circumstances,
   I will drop the lowest 20% of your homework assignments from your
   grade.)

2. Some of you emailed me your homework yesterday. If you anticipate
   missing class / etc., then you may certainly email me your homework.
   However, I receive a lot of email, and it would help me if you used
   the following format:

    a. Make the subject of your email "269 HW X Submission"

    b. Use my class email address: gi1242+269 at cmu.edu

    c. Make sure your name, and Andrew ID is on the homework.

    d. PDF submissions only.

3. Your graders will scan perfect/nearly perfect student solutions (with
   names removed), and I will post them on the class website when
   available. This, however, will be a few days (usually one week).
   If you're curious about the solution to a problem before that, I
   suggest the following: Many of you have electronic copies of your
   homework already. I have created a shared BOX folder, which I will
   send you a link to separately. If you are interested in sharing your
   homeowrk solutions (or any class notes you may have) with your
   classmates, feel free to upload it there.
