Replication failing - IMAP_SYNC_CHECKSUM Checksum Failure

I resorted to deleting the mailbox on the replication slave and trying to start from scratch, but I get nowhere.

On slave:

cyrus at cyrus2c:~> cyradm --user mailadmin `hostname`

  cyrus2c.mail.rice.edu> dm user/lamemm7
  cyrus2c.mail.rice.edu> cm --partition cyrus2g user/lamemm7
  cyrus2c.mail.rice.edu> setacl user/lamemm7 mailadmin lrswipkxtecda


On master:

cyrus at cyrus2a:~> sync_client -v -v -l -m "user/lamemm7"
.............

Syslog on the master shows
