Hi!
I tried to build a new 2.5.0 release on CentOS 7 from source.
I used:
./configure --with-extraident=xxxxxx-1 --with-syslogfacility=MAIL
--disable-static --enable-idled --enable-murder --enable-http
--enable-replication --with-snmp --without-bdb --disable-gssapi
configure did not detect the missing glib2-devel package needed by vzic.
make did at the last steps;-)
make install fails with
> Making install in tools/vzic/
> make[2]: Entering directory `/opt/cyrus-imapd/src/cyrus-imapd-2.5.0/tools/vzic'
> make[2]: *** No rule to make target `install'. Stop.
> make[2]: Leaving directory `/opt/cyrus-imapd/src/cyrus-imapd-2.5.0/tools/vzic'
> make[1]: *** [install-recursive] Error 1
> make[1]: Leaving directory `/opt/cyrus-imapd/src/cyrus-imapd-2.5.0'
> make: *** [install] Error 2
Greetings, Wolfgang
