problems with deleted messages and reconstruct

It does not.

It puzzles me how reconstruct finds all mail files, including the ones before 2008, but a mail client only shows mails after 2008. That is, there are mail files in the mailbox that neither are recovered by reconstruct, nor are deleted by the -O option.
