After Cyrus upgrade 2.3.16 to 2.4.5: Sync_client bailing out

As you can see there are all expected files. The name of the
mailbox/directory is not 'user.mdemonaco.Sent 2', it's
'user.mdemonaco.Sent' (without the '2'). I assume this is a status
index from cyrus. I have this problem with different mailboxes. Any
ideas?
