Strange characters in ACL on mailbox. Can not remove.

Hello,

a listaclmailbox lists a very strange set of ACLs on a mailbox:
(<userid1> - <userid3> are valid users)

<userid1> lrscd
fk <userid2>
{16} "Strange, accented characters like `A" rswipcda
<userid3> lrscd

a deleteaclmailbox <mailbox> "{16}*" fails, as does a
dam <mailbox> <userid1>

My question is, how to remove all ACLs from this mailbox and set them to 
a more sensible set of ACLs (if possible without having to edit 
mailboxes.db (skiplist) by hand :-)
