sendmail/cyrus deliver not to subdomain

How have you integrated cyrus mailer and sendmail?

Do you you use cyruvv2 as "local mailer"?
  define(confLOCAL_MAILER,...)
YES => sendmail.cf  strips recipients domain anyway before selecting
  local mailer or its substitute.
