Reducing log verbosity

Hello!

I've been Googling for an answer, but haven't come up with any working  
solution.  I would like to turn down the verbosity of my Cyrus logs  
but have not been successful.

I'm using the Invoca cyrus build (latest from the website) on Centos  
5.3.  I've tried setting the  CYRUS_VERBOSE environmental variable but  
it seems to ignore any alue I put in.  I'm doing this in the init.d  
script.

Any hints as to what I'm doing wrong?
