Cyrus2.2 with IMAPS/SASLauthd not working

Hi Holgar,

your problem is saslauthd related - I think so.

you have two way of auth cyrus imap against LDAP
either 'saslauthd -o ldap' -> /sasl_pwcheck_method: saslauthd
/or directly ->      sasl_pwcheck_method: auxprop
                          sasl_auxprop_plugin: ldapdb 
If you ask what I recommend - sorry I've only used 'saslauthd -o ldap' 
so far. Maybe someone else could give good advice.

PS: If the hints from my last mail do not work try to comment out: 
'ldap_mech: DIGEST_MD5' as well.
/etc/saslauthd.conf:
  ldap_servers: ldaps://ds1.example.net
  ldap_search_base: dc=example,dc=net
  # ldap_mech: DIGEST_MD5

check if one/both works:
        ldapsearch -H ldaps://ds1.example.net -U username -w password -Y 
DIGEST-MD5
        ldapsearch -H ldaps://ds1.example.net -U username -w password -x
