Thanks for the reply. I managed to track the problem down, finally, to
file-rights on the stage directory :/ can't believe I missed that, sorry X_X

i use procmail.

that error is often full quota or wrong mailheaders.

Try to deliver it manually to cyrus an see the real error.

you have the mail somewhere, find it and,

cat mail | deliver -q -a userid_cyrus -r from_email userid_cyrus

And work from there

-r from should be an emailadress...
