I began experiencing a problem recently due to the spammers.  =

It seems I routinely receive e-mails going to addresses beginning with +  (=
e.g. +._-user at hawkmail.monmouth.edu).  This e-mail should get rejected as u=
ndeliverable..  however, it gets stuck in my sendmail queue.

Normally this wouldn't be a problem.  However, I've noticed that when other=
 (valid) e-mails get queued up for delivery, they will NEVER be delivered. =
 Sendmail routinely tries to resend messages in the queue - but it seems th=
at after it tries to deliver the +._-user at server e-mail, lmtp will fail for=
 all the other (valid) messages.

I'm continuing to search the archives, but I'm coming up empty handed so fa=
r.  I'm running RHEL4 with their prepackaged 8.13.1 and Cyrus v2.2.12
