LMTP AUTH with sendmail?

You use older MAILER(`cyrus'). Take a look at newer MAILER(`cyrusv2').
Cyrusv2 supports direct LMTP over unix socket.

For AUTH over LMTP ask at news:comp.mail.sendmail
