recover from hard restart

I had a server hard restart, and some users (looks like just the ones  
login) have this now:
cyrus.cache
cyrus.cache.NEW
cyrus.header
cyrus.index
cyrus.index.NEW

And their mail clients are not working correctly.
How can I fix this without taking the server down?
