Login in from mobile

Hi, I've cyrus-imapd-2.2.12-6 with cyrus-sasl-2.1.20-6 on FC5.

My clients mobile (nokia) has a pop3 and smtp clinet built in. He can
login as pop3 but not as smtp (postfix using cyrus-sasl). 

Where as from thunderbird there is no problem ofcource.

Thanks for any sugstions.
