unexpunge broken?

I run it like this, (from command line)
su cyrus -c "/usr/cyrus/bin/unexpunge -l user/demo at inorgen.com"

and when i try like this,
su cyrus -c "/usr/cyrus/bin/unexpunge -l user.demo at inorgen.com"

it still doesn't work, can't lock null.... (and no one has accessed the
mailbox in a hour when i try this or the above)
