Hi, I noticed some of the backup has numbered files, while others don't
have.
For example, the following folders have does not have numbered folders:
# ls -l /usr/local/ab/
total 14100
drwx------ 2 cyrus wheel 512 Aug 1 17:24 Drafts
drwx------ 2 cyrus wheel 512 Aug 1 17:24 Sent Items
drwx------ 2 cyrus wheel 512 Aug 1 17:24 Trash
-rw------- 1 cyrus wheel 4 Aug 1 17:24 cyrus.cache
-rw------- 1 cyrus wheel 179 Aug 1 17:24 cyrus.header
-rw------- 1 cyrus wheel 76 Aug 1 17:24 cyrus.index
-rw------- 1 cyrus wheel 39983 Aug 1 17:24 cyrus.squat
When I followed your steps to restore these folders/files, I found no
messages in the Inbox.
But when I restored the other files which have numbered files like the
following, I will have the backup mail files restored.
# ls -l
total 3722
-rw------- 1 60 wheel 1669744 Aug 1 12:05 86.
-rw------- 1 60 wheel 16018 Aug 1 12:11 87.
-rw------- 1 60 wheel 2042642 Aug 1 16:09 88.
drwx------ 2 60 wheel 512 Aug 1 15:39 Drafts
drwx------ 2 60 wheel 1024 Aug 1 15:39 Sent Items
drwx------ 2 60 wheel 512 Aug 1 15:39 Trash
-rw------- 1 60 wheel 5564 Aug 1 16:09 cyrus.cache
-rw------- 1 60 wheel 179 Jun 5 13:09 cyrus.header
-rw------- 1 60 wheel 256 Aug 1 16:09 cyrus.index
-rw------- 1 60 wheel 26462 Aug 1 15:39 cyrus.squat
Are these outcome sound right to you?
Thanks
Sam
