This is an excerpt of /etc/crontab on my system running Debian's 2.1.18
Cyrus:
# Domingos a las 23 horas: Limpieza de folders "Basura"
0 23 * * 7 cyrus /usr/sbin/ipurge -f -d 8 -X user/*/Basura
and it works.
Note: I have
altnamespace: no
unixhierarchysep: yes
on /etc/imapd.conf
