Thank you Alexander. Yes, the solution is:
/etc/imapd.conf
admins: cyrus ( without domain of course )

and in /etc/hosts have

127.0.0.1   localhost    

I got in /etc/hosts '127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain' and 'cyradm -u
cyrus localhost' authenticated as cyrus at localdomain, which was wrong.

Now it is working!
